£14,000,000 DEAL IN U.S.A. N KAY YOlH'Jt, Feb. 11, ■lt is announced to-day that- tbe Associated Gas and Electric Co., a holding concern, lias contracted to acquire control o[ the General Gas and. Electric Corporation, another holding company controlling public utility services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Florida. ’the resulting corporation will have gross earnings totaling some £14,000,000 a- year.
