AMANULLAH'S TROOPS RUSSIAN MUNITIONS (Elec. Tel Copyright-United Press Assn, (Australian and N.Z Press Association.' DELHI, March 31. Ex-King Amanullah is marching on Kabul with 30,000 troops armed with Russian ritles and ammunition. Considerable lighting is proceeding between the rival forces. The rebel king is preparing to defend the capital, with a steadily decreasing force against Amanullah. Another claimant to the throne is Prince Omai* Khan, a member of the Afghan royal family, who escaped from detention at Allahabad recently.
OFFICERS ASSASSINATED DEMONSTRATION IN HERAT 0 (Times Cab’es.' CALCUTTA, March 30. In Herat, an unpopular governor plus n nephew, whom the governor was planning to put in his place, and a colonel who went to the rescue, were assassinated by mutinous troops. The nephew was a supporter of Amanullah. Foreigners and Indians have been ordered to leave Herat.
