ROWING
BULLER RIVER CARNIVAL
(Per Press Association.) WESTPOET, last, night. At. a. boating carnival held on the Buller river on Saturday the outstanding attraction was a rowing race for the. (tothard Cup between Kawaiiri (Wcstport), holders, and Nelson (challengers), the latter winning by six lengths. The winners were a heftier crew than the losers and rowed with a fine swing which early took them to the front and kept them there.
