Mrs. Woolsev, who now resides at Poit Chalmers, has the distinction of being the oldest continuous resident of Otago. She is, of course, not the oldest resident. Mrs. Woolsev, or rather Mary Coleman, as she then was, landed from the Magnet in 1840. Mrs. Woolsey was present at the recent anniversary celebrations of the Early Settlers’ Association.
