PERJURY ALLEGED
MENTAL HOSPITAL CASE

William Worsley, 26, one of the defence witnesses in the recent Porirua Mental Hospital assault case, was 10-dav charged with perjury. it is alleged that Worslcv asserted as a matter of fact that he saw a light between two patients in the hospital yard, when such an assertion was known by him to he false, and was intended to mislead the judge and jury. A remand was made to April 10, bail of £250 being allowed.
