Flying Officers Moir and Owen made a forced landing at Morsamatrnh, on route to Ramleli. The men were not injured, but the machine was damaged.
The journey of the Vickers plane from Malta io Benghazi involved a flight of 450 miles across the Mediterranean. Moir.and Owen left Malta at 7.30 a.m. and arrived at Benghazi at 12.30 p.m. They were accompanied part of the way by a fciitish naval flying machine, and had a good crossing, the engines -behaving well.
