POTATOES AFFECT DINERS
LONDON, Jan. 28. An insurance company celebrated its annual dinner, which was attended by all its agents and clerks, '.says tbe.jAftisterdam correspondent of the Times. After the dinner they went to a theatre, whore they had booked up all the stalls and' other seats, to the number of 550. They soon began to quit the theatre, and the comedians, who were annoyed, remarked, "They must have dined overwell." , Four hundred left inside half an hour, and were treated at hoipital. Nobody was- serioilsly ill. Infected potatoes were , blamed for. tho g !
