CALL MONEY AT 9 PER CENT. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) NEW YORK, Feb. S. As a result of the calling in of some £8.000,000 in loans by the banks, the call-money market advanced • from (i to 9 per cent, during the day. This induced heavy selling on the Block -Exchange towards the close, .stocks ending well below yesterday's closing prices, and, in ninny cases, near the year's low level. There were losses up lo above eight points in'individual slocks. Trading covered approximatelv I.r>f 10.000 shares.
