“ANOTHER BURST”
LONDON WATER MAINS DUE TO TRAFFIC VIBRATION (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) (Received Feb. 9, noon.) LONDON, Feb. 8. There was another remarkable water mam burst in the West End, apparently- due to traffic vibration. Wood blocks wore heaved up over a long stretch of roadway at Lancaster Gate. , Soon a river was flowing alongside Hyde Park, where the basements of houses rapidly filled, necessitating a police rally- to arouse tenants.
