N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS FOUR NEW RECORDS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Four new records were established at the Now. Zealand amateur swimming championships, which were continued this afternoon at the To Are baths.

It. Geddcs (Otago) won the junior boys' bre.-i.stsirokc championship in GO 4-ssec, bettering by 1 2-ssecs. the record of L. Olds (Otago). A. Stokes (Canterbury) won the 220yds. men's championship in 2iniu. ttlbue., or ;:-sscc better tho record of L. Kronfeld (Auckland).

E. .1. Moorhouse (Canterbury) won the men's 150yds. backstroke in Imin. 52 ,I-sscc, beating by 2-sscc. the previous best of L. Fairgray (Auckland).

Miss P. Bobertson (Auckland) clipped 2-.-JSCC. off the record of Imin. S 4/ssec. made by Miss D. Magce (Auckland) for the 100 yards intermediate girls' championship. A splendid contest was provided in Ihe 220yds. ladies' championship. Mi.ss D. Grant (Auckland) appeared to lie a sure winner, but Miss K. Miller (Wellington), the title-holder, made a magnificent spurt at the finish. Di P. Lindsay (Auckland) has withdrawn from all further contests as he must return to Auckland. Results:--.

50yds, junior girls' breaststroko ■championship.—Final: Miss J, Webster (Auckland) 1, Miss Z. Fryer (Hawkc's Bay) 2, Miss D. Johnston (Wanganui) .'!. Won by one yard. A touch separated second and thud. Time, 43see.

75yds. junior boys' brcaststroke championship.— Final: IE Goddes (Otago) 1, B. Greener (Wanganui) 2, J. Hunter (Canterbury) .".. Won by .10 yards in 00 4-ssec, a Now Zealand record.

100 yards intermediate girls' championship. —Final: Miss P. Robertson (Auckland) 1. Miss M. Smith (Auckland) 2, Miss M. Mathieson (Otago) 3; Won by nearly eight yards; three yards separated second and third. Time, OS 2-ssec, a New Zealand, record.'

Miss Miller, who came from behind wonderfully, turned first for tho dual 20 yards, and went ahead bp finish in great stylo, wilh throe yards to spare.
