OPERATIONS RESUMED
BEAM STATION PIRE (Received. Dec, 31, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 30. No official estimate is provided of the fire damage at the beam wireless station in Victoria. It was caused by a spark from the exhaust of a crude oil engine. The station is now working on its reserve plant. It is one of the key links of the Empire beam service.
