IV A.—The performers will include eight favorite singers, the Hebrew Two, the Tui Hawaiian Orchestra and two humorous elocutionists. Not the least interesting of the four hours’ programme will bo the choruses. Just before midnight the microphone will adjourn to Queen street where from a vantage .point the scene will be described and the street noises broadcast. 2YA.—This station will also celebrate the occasion with a special programme. At midnight there will be relay of the watch night service in St. Andrew’s liresbyterinn Church. 3YA.—-Almost entirely of a Scottish character will be 3YA s studio programme, tile Woolston Hand assistingThen there will be a relay of dance music, after which listeners will "time, in" to Cathedral Square, Christchurch, to hear the noises and clamor incidental to the passing of the old year and the advent of the new. Carols will : 1 e rung on the Cathedral bolls. 4YA. —Though usually a silent day, 4YA will also bo running strongly on New Year's Eve. the best of Dunedin talen contributing to a light and popular programme. 4QG Brisbane.-—New Year's Eve entertainment: Sydney May’s party;: Wynnmn Bowling Club concert : studio lartisls till midnight. TUESDAY, .JANUARY 1. To-morrow, New Year's Day, there will he further programmes in keeping with the holiday spirit, 4QG Brisbane. —Tivoli Theatre; comedy dance sketch, “A Sister to Assist ’er ;” Erich John’s party.
