Mr. Richard Rope, of Anvoa road. Awatuna, wan attacked by a Jorsey hull on liis farm and suffered injuries which necessitated medical attention (report? the Hawora Star). Mr. Rope was tethering the animal when it attacked him, inflicting injuries to the chest. Ho was struck a glancing blow l>y the point of fins horns which grazed his skin and his chest was bruised. Miss Pope witnessed the incident and went to her father’s assistance, driving off the animal before further injuries could be inflicted.
