, LONDON, Nor. IP, Many people who pass along the Strand are constrained to examine the Imperial Dee Honey display in the High Commissioner’s window. This has as a central feature an amusing model of a bee—“lmperial Bee, Esq.,’’ who is continually engaged in picking out from a case certain cards on which are printed edifying statements regarding the quality of the New Zealand produce. Between whiles he rolls his eyes and turns his head to the amusement of all who are attracted by his antics. The whole window, however, is attractively decorated. .1.1 has as a background a painting of a fruit or bee farm. On both sides 'is green trellis work amply decorated with pink flowers. On a grass base are pyramids constructed from the jars of -Imperial Bee Honey. That the placards displayed by the electrified tigure are arresting is proved by the fact that people remain to read the whole series. They learn, for instance, that Imperial 800 Honey is “ail energising food”; that it “does not harm the teeth”; that it will make and keep you fit ”; that it is “Nature’s own food—all nutriment”; that it is “a food which is all food”; and that; it is “the essence of summer sunshine. ’ ’ The makers of the mechanical tigure which is causing the amusement have written to the High Commissioner as follows: “We wish to express our admiration of the way in which this window lids been set out, not only from a professional but also from an artistic point of view, and we shall be extremely obliged if you will allow us (if the window lias been photographed) six copies of the photograph, ■with permission for us to hav'e same produced in the illustrated ‘Display’ periodicals for England and abroad, we, of course, mentidnfug that the display is shown in the Nevy.
