Forty-eight men were started on unemployed relief work at Walker road, Point Chevalier, and at Grey Lynn Park on Monday. Their wages will be paid from the grant of £2OOO recently made by the Government to the Auckland City Council. The Mayor, Mr. G. Raildon, said that 70 further men would be engaged after the holiday period,
