OBITUARY
MR. WILLIAM McLEOD Since)* sympathy will be extended to Detective .1. McLeod, of the (iisborne police force, in the death of his father. Mr. William McLeod, which occurred at Morfinsville yesterday. Deceased, who was 82 years* of age, was born in Edihnargh, Scotland, and came out to New Zealand in 1874, settling in Dunedin. Until four years ago the lale Mr. McLeod was farming in the South Island, managing stations in Ota'go and Canterbury, and in 1924 he came to I lie North Island to take up 'farming with one of his .sons at Morririsville. Deceased leaves one daughter, Mrs. ffenwoorl, of Waeienga, near Morrinsville, ami .six sons, Messrs. Alexander McLeod (Canterbury), William McLeod (Bawke's liay), Nei'l .\hLeoil (Taranaki), ,lames McLeod (San Francisco). Donald McLeod (Morrin.sville),,'ahd John McLeod ((iisborne).
