CROSSING COLLISION
(Per Tress Association.) HAMILTON, this day. A collision occurred at Victoria street level crossing last night at 10.40 o'clock, when a car crashed into a goods train. S. J. Weatherley, a farmer, of Tekowhai, was severely cut about, and the other occupants and the driver bad a fortunate escape. It was raining heavily at the time, and the driver failed to see the approaching train.
