A WAIROA WEDDING

(Herald Correspondent.) Miss Ethel Bvoadbeut, formerly ol London, and who was mistress of the Turiroa school until she obtained an important post in Blenheim, was married at St. Paul's Anglican Church on Thursday to Mr. Henry JMevr, of Levin, and formerly of Liverpool. The bride, who was attended by Mrs. A. Perry, as matron of honor, was attired in rose-colored crepe-de-chine, with blue georgette overdress, crinoline hat, and carried a shower bouquet composed of pink roses and delphinia. Mr. L. South was best man, and Mr. M. South presided at the organ. Tho reception took place at the residence of Mr. ami Mrs. A. Perry, where a ■ number of musical items were given by the friends of the bride, who is very popular in musical circles. There were many valuable presents tendered and in the afternoon the happy couple left on their honeymoon, and later will reside at Levin.
