INTERNAL INFLAMMATION (United Service.) LONDON, Dec. 24. The Archbishop of Canterbury m suffering from internal inflammation anc will be confined to his bed for _some days. Sir Hugh Righv, Hie King £ honorary surgeon, consulted with the archbishop’s doctor. Dr. Whitehead Reid, who stated last evening that the archbishop had passed a moderately com fortablo dav. He had had some sleep, but the inflammation remains the same. Tlie doctor issued a statement to-day that the Primate bad had some sleeu during the night. The pain had lessened and the inflammation, which apoears to lie in the region of tlie liver, is subsiding
