The Gunbar should arrive from Auckland, via Coast bays and Napier, tomorrow. On completion of discharge the steamer returns to Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Elsie Mary is expected to leave Auckland to-day, and is due here on Saturday. The auxiliary ketch Iluanui arrived from Wellington at 4 a.rn. on Tuesday. The Kotiti, a small motor ship, owned by the Kotiti Shipping Co., broke her tail-shaft in Peloroiis Sound oil Sunday and anchored safely in Niktui Bay. Jhe John, leading at Pic ton, went to her assistance, and towed her to Wellington without incident. The Kotiti met with a similar mishap last year at Kaikoura, when, after being towed to sea, she proceeded under her own sail to Lyttelton, arriving several days overdue.
