LONDON-SOUTH AFRICA PROPOSALS TO BE MADE SOON (British Official Wirc-lcss.) lice. 1 p.m. RUGBY, Dor. 13. Questioned in the House of Commons to-day regarding (he establishment of an air service between London and Smitli Africa. Sir Philip Sassoon. Undersecretary for Air, said a number of flights iind taken place between Londan and South Africa and intermediate points. Valuable information had been obtained as a result, hut. the actual details of the. route selected would depend on whether land planes or sea. planes were used. On certain parts of the journey that could only lie determined when concrete proposals were formulated. The Air Minister exported such proposals fo he made in the near future, and if they were, considered practicable immediate steps would be taken in co-operation with the Government of Smith Africa, which was aware of the intention and desire to develop air communiotUions of that nature.
