BYRD EXPEDITION
ELEANOR BOLLING RETURNING (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. Brophy, second in command, of the Byrd expedition, has received the following radio message from Commander Byrd: “Left Bolling in Ross Sea; expect her to arrive in Dunedin on December 21.’’ Mr. Brophy states that the coal mentioned in tho cable message yesterday is that carried by the Eleanor Bolling, which was to be transhipped by. gear rigged bn the towing hawser. Mr. Brophy yesterday called on the Ministers of Marine and Railways and expressed appreciation of the facilities offered the expedition. He especially complimented ■ the Wellington Harbor Board on* the valuable assistance given.
