NO PRIVATE MONOPOLY
AUSTRALIAN BROADCASTING (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Dec. 14, noon.) SYDNEY, Dec. 14. Mr. 11. I’. Brown, director of Post and Telegraphs, stated to-day that the Wireless Advisory Board had com pletod a scheme for the assumption of the control of broadcasting in Australia by the Federal Government. Private ownership of a monopoly of the right to broadcast for either A or B stations is to cease.
