During the breaking-up ocreniony at St. Winifred’s school this morniilg, the/ headmaster, Mr. E. Edmonds, referred to the services rendered by Miss Baker, Who had been matron of the school for the bast two years and who was leaving fat the end of the term. On behalf of the pupils, Miss Shirley Ormond presented Miss Baker with a small gilt in rfcturii for her many valuable services. Miss Baker briefly responded.
