GAMBLERS DROWNED

Five persons w<>vc drowned- when a barge,, the Blue Sea, lit fed, with a special gambling device, sank during a storm, 15 miles off San. Pedro. , The gamblers were driven from pillar to post on land, and several weeks ago moved aboard a luxurious barge which was refitt-ul from an old steamer. Anchoring beyond the 12-mile limit, they did tremendous business with launch parties from the shore. .The authorities were scratching their heads trying to figure out a method for their suppr<B- - when, early to-day, a storm came along and smashed the vessel, which sank, carrying the five owner* to a watery grave.
