Advice has been received that Lieut. Garth Stonehani. of Gisborne, who is attending Otago University, has passed the military examination qualifying him for a, captaincy.
To represent New Zealand at- the International Civil Aeronautical Convention in Washington next month, .Mr. H R Dix, of the Marlborough Aero Club,’and Captain N. IL Barlow, oi the Air Force, left Auckland by the Aorangi last: night. They will return next March.—B.A.
