M’ATAWHERO STOCK SALE A feature of the, Alatawhero stock sale to-day was the increased demand for store sheep. .In this section 1003 sheep were offered, and a brisk sale resulted, there being an average attendance of the public. Two good cows, one Shorthorn and one Jersey cross, went to £B. Heifers made £6 17s 6<l. Prices : 2 Jersey heifers, £5 12s 6d; 1 Jersey steer. £5 ss; 1 do. (p), £4 10s; 2- cows, Shorn horn arid jersey, £8; 1 heifer, £6 17s 6d: 1 heifer, good' size, £6 16s.

A good yarding uf fat cattle, with a small yarding of store cattle and sheep, came forward lor the ,I tort fold Lodge (Hawke’s Bay) sale, on Wednesday, (attic prices were on a par with las! week, but, fat sheep were slightly easier.
