BRAVERY RECOGNISED
RESCUED FROM DROWNING (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHUBCH, last night. The. court of directors of the Royal Humane. Society to-day approved the following awards: — Harold Ralph, for rescuing W. J. Busch from drowning at Lake 'Ferry on March 10—bronze medal. Daisy Miller and Daniel Oldham, for rescuing Margaret Newton from drowning at Jack's Hay, Cluthn —bronze medals.
John Silvester Fulton, for rescuing Mary Ann Green from drowning at St. Clair beach, Dunedin—certificate.
