■ At Inst evening’s meeting of the Borough Council, the Mayor, Mr. D. W. Coleman, in reply to Cr. W. Cave, gave an assurance that in the event of a municipal bus service being established in place of the. tramways, the present tramway motoimon would receive first consideration when drivers were being engaged. “They are being educated now. as a. matter of fact,” remarked Cr. R. J. Kerridge.
