CLEARING SALE OF STOCK A successful clearing sale of stock was conducted by Messrs. Dulgetv and Co. on behalf of Mr. W. V. Wilson at his picporty oil Monday. There was a large attendance of farmers from all districts, and buyers from Mata.wai amt Opotiki were also operating freely. All stock came forward in splendid condition, and realised very good prices. The stud Jerseys made up ir> 25jgns., and a four-year-old heifer calf made 4jgns. Grade Jersey heifers made up to £l2, and grade cows tip to £l3. Sundries realised full market value.

Mr. E. E. Short, of “ Million,” Feilding, relumed homo last week from Die Sydney Show. Slice]) from his stud, sold to New South Wales brooders, won every prize for which they could compete in the Romney Marsh sod ion at Iho show. Mr. Short said while in Sydney ho received orders for sheep from brooders in Brazil, Argentine, and Australia.
