SOCCER PLAYER SUSPENDED

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The Otago Football Association, reported at to-night’s meeting of the New Zealand Soccer Council having suspended a member of the Mosgiel Club for three Saturdays for threatening a referee during the progress of the game and striking him after the game. The. reports of the case were read, and it was decided to telegraph Otago that the eojuncil took a serious view of this offence, and to decide to increase the suspension to the end. of ;.the season.
