I'attullo, Minister of Lands in tho defeated British Columbian Government, lias cancelled his reservation on the Niagara for the Empire Forestry Conference. Mr. P. Z. Gaverill, chief forestry officer, will go as sole representative ol Western Canada. Mr. R, L. Robinson, technical commissioner of the British Industries Department, has arrived at Canberra to make arrangements for the Empire Forestry Conference to be hi Id there on September 26. The first Empire conference was held in London in 1920, the second in Canada in 1923, and this is the third. It is expected 80 delegates will attend.
