MOTOR REGULATIONS BROKEN

(Special to tho Herald.) HAMILTON, this day. Motor-cyclists do not generally know that the recent motor regulations prohibit them from carrying more than two persons on their machines unless a sideear is provided. The first prosecution in connection with a breach of this regulation was heard before Mr. F. W. Piatts, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day, tho defendant being Adolph Schmitt, who pleaded guilty. If was stated that Schmitt and two young men, Guilford and Gratten, were seen pillion riding on a motor-cycle. Schmitt was fined lCs and his companions wero convicted and discharged.
