TE AROHA SUFFERS PART OF BRIDGE DESTROYED (Per Press Association.) lIAMII.TON, this day. 'IV Aroha imports the heaviest flood since 1914. The local shipping office, limber yard, and hide stores are under water, and also some of the residences. A part, of the bridge in Gordon road was washed away. The rainfall wan 5.50 in. lor ?A hours to 9 a.m., making 9in. m 'iß hours.
h is still raining heavily. The Wai hon river is rising vapidly, The road ti Paeroa is impassible.
