Canada is relinquishing all interest in the Pacific cable, according to a major provision of the est bio and wireless merger negotiated in lOngland. Ottawa and London nil! announce dehails simultaneous, probably on Monday. Canada gets a generous cash consideration. It is understood that the proposition was eagerly accepted, as there was no prospect of a profit. Other provisions of the merger affecting Canada are not disclosed.
