The sequel to a. series of thefts of goods from river wharves extending over a period of years, was the appearance ill' two men in the Polio Court at Thames to answer eight charges of theft •I Puriri. The accused were Robert liruce McCowatt and Cyril Desmond llewson, and they were remanded to appeal' in ;i week.
