Up till this year I have always held the view that spice of any sort was harmful to poultry, but happening to see your advertisement in "Poultry" that your Karswood Poultry Spice increased the egg yield in the third year, I decided to test it on 3 birds who were just finishing their second year of laying. That was last August, and. they have not finished laying yet, and they have gone through their moult as well. Another thing about it is they have not been forced, for their plumage is tight and glossy,ami they look like pullets. Having had such good results from the old birds 1 began using it. on some R.I.R. that were. 7 months old and- Hot laying; within a" month of using 3 of our 5 birdi? were laying 6 days out of 7, which 1 thought was extraordinary good, as tinder my old system of feeding I used to" consider myself lucky if 1 got 3 eggs per bird per week in the winter time and none at all if it was very cold.
