The reappointment for a further year of the members of the Local Government Loans Board appointed by the Governor-General is announced. < These members are: Messrs. R. A. Anderson (Invercargill), G. An agreement was reached at the meeting of the East Coast Rabbit Board this morning to send a petition to the Government asking for the alteration ,of the board's boundaries as suggested by the Principal Inspectpr, Mr. Munro, of Auckland, in a report to the previous meeting, 'flie proposals mggested the cutting off of a large area of waste land on the Rangataiki Plains which the Government prefer to work 'hemselves.
