CHILDREN IN DANGER
CATTLE STAMPEDE IN SCHOGLGROUNDS A sensation was caused at Castlecliff on Wednesday afternoon when a mob of young steers which was being driven from the Imlay freezing works to the abattoirs ran wild in the vicinity of the Castleeliff school. The children were coming out of school at the time, and it appears that several of the children ran out to the mob of cattle and frightened them. The beasts, being young, were easily alarmed, and they stampededo into the school grounds. It was then the children's turn to be frightened, and they fled in all directions, pursued by the steers.
