P.B. LADIES’ RECORD EQUALLED ' The second weekly meetinag of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and -Harrier Club was held last evening on the Reserve. There was a good attendance, close finishes being recorded in many of the events. In the ladies’ 100yds. race Miss Wilson ran excellently and finished in 12sec., which is equal to the Poverty Bay ladies’ record. This time is especially good, iii view of the fact that the season is early yet. and that at the time the race was run the contestants were handicapped by a head wind Results: Men’s 100yds. handicap.—First heat: B.
