A further protest is to bo made by the Lyttelton Harbor Board against the discontinuance of the shipping telegraph board at Lyttelton. The PostmasterGeneral, the Hon. Win. Noswoithy, wrote in reply to the hoard’s first protest that the services were of no value to the Host, and Telegraph Department., or to any State Department, and that they were discontinued on account ot their enormous cost.
