The Daily News says that. £H7,000 is irrecoverably lost, is the decision of the Public Accounts Committee. Tins was due to Britain, on the winding up of the fund repatriating Rumanian, Polish, and Oy.ocho-Slovakian prisoners. A Whitehall official forgot, to send the account to Geneva, where the officials failed to notice the omission, wherefore the fund was wound up without Britain.-getting the money.
