By nine votes to five, on a purely party division, the City Council adopted the principle of municipalising the milk supply of tho city. The milk committee reported that it had recently submitted to the council for consideration the report of Mr. R. E. Hcrron, together with a number of suggestions made by the Dairymen's Association and others. The committee had) further considered the matter, ami was of the opinion that the time was now opportune for the institution of a municipal milk supply.
