Wheat cargoes are weak in sympathy with North and South American advices. Quotations are 6d to Is ‘down, and did not attract attention. Parcels are in moderate request at similar declines. Liverpool futures are quoted : October 10s 2^if; December-Mnrch ICs 4d; May 10s 3j*d.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. have received the following cablegram from their London olliee under date of October 14 : “ New Zealand frozen meat, lamb 9jd per lb. (average); mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 6£<l, heavy 5^(1: ewe, light sd, heavy 43d; market quiet.”
