“BOILED” PETROL
SYDNEY, June 13. Intending to boil some water at Evelcigh. workshops, this morning, Claude Eldridge. 53, laborer, of Devine street, Erskincville, and .Tames Pearce, Iff,. apprentice, of Caledonian street. West Ivogarah, placed on the fire a tin which they thought contained water. The tin. however, contained petrol, and in the resulting explosion, both were severely bumf about the face, arms, ami body.
