AUCKLAND, this day. . “If the public and the listeners have lost all confidence in the Broadcasting Co., then that alters the whole position, and I will have, to look into the subject,” said the Prime Minister, Mr. J. (J. Coates, to Messrs. A. C. Jacob and Trevor W. Stringer, of the Auckland Listeners’ League, who approached him on Saturday. He also said: “I see no reason why the / balance-sheet of ‘the Broadcasting Co. should not be made public and everything discussed openly.” The hearing lasted for an hour.
