Quick and accurate work .was indispensable, for the ferry service timetable, was developing defects owing to her absence. The removing of a turbine from a ship’s engine roam is like taking a wheel out of a. watch, only that the turbine weighs over 15 tons and the shecrlegs, operating- through the engine roam skylight, cannot make a straight-out lift, of it. Nevertheless, the old turbine has been put ashore and the spare one from the shore fitted in its place. C. AND D. STEAMERS SOLD LAST OP NON -1!
