IN accordance with the provisions of Sections 120 and 121 of “The Counties’ Act. 1920.” and Sections 51 and 54of “The Rating Act, 1925,” and amendments thereof, notice is hereby given that the YYaikohu County Council intends, at a meeting to be held on TUESDAY', July 12. 1927, to make and levy a General Rate in the several ridings and in the Te Kanaka Town District as stated below: In tlie Te Karaka Town District a rate of 7-16 d; In tlie Karaka Riding a rate of lid; In the 'Kanakanaia Riding a rate of 1 11-16 d; In the Alotu Riding a rate of 2|d; In the Waihuka Riding a rate of 2§d; In the Mangatu Riding a rate of l^d; In the Whaipaoa Riding a rate of 1 11-16 d; In'the Ngatapa Riding a rate of 1 15-16 d in the £ on the ratable value of all rateable property in the said Town District and Ridings, being for the period beginning on the first day of April, 1927, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1928. The above-mentioned rates will become due and payable in one sum on AUGUST ]. 1927. A Rebate of 9d in the £ (32 per cent.) on the general rate will he allowed if pavment be made on or before August Si; 1927.
