An appeal from the decision of Mr. W. G. Riddell. S.M., was heard by Mr. Justice Ostler ati ’Wellington to-day. Henry Hastings Sealmiok, Auckland, was the appellant, and the delemlant was John L. Buxton, accountant, of Wellington. Buxton was appointed secretary of the “Non-Stick, or Crock Oiled Material Syndicate,” and alleged that £6O was owing to him as secretary, and that Seabrook was liable for the debts of the partnership. His Honor referred to a resolution whereby Buxton had undertaken the work without promise of remuneration, and gave judgment for the appellant.
