WAIKAREMOANA NOTES
(Herald Correspondent.) The. tennis dance held at Waiinako was a very successful function. Thu dub will benefit by about £25. The Terapatiki school children played a. game of basket ball 'against . the Jlohaka. school, followed by a pleasant hour of community singing. Miss Harlow provided the visitors with morning tea.
Mrs lirikson, who has been visiting in the south, has returned home. She gave a, very enjoyable dinner and bridge party. Mrs L. 15. Stone, of Wairan, lias been spending a holiday with Mrs H. D. Lylian, at'Ohuka. Mr Lyall, of the- Education Department, visited the district last week. Mr Jack Gossling, who was injured when his lorry plunged over the bank into the Waikaretahekc, is well again.
